The Mass Appeal of May Day

One year ago, the United Auto Workers union announced a general strike plan for May 1, 2028. The UAW president called on workers to reclaim May 1 as an ANNUAL strike date.

Work Reform joined the fresh call for 2025 May Day action several months ago. Since then, millions of Americans have become May Day curious. This past week, the massive protest group 50501 joined in and called for a national day of solidarity on May 1!

How can we really achieve our demands? By getting even more people informed and activated. We do that by getting more fellow workers involved at a level of participation that is achievable to them.

At least 70% of us are living paycheck to paycheck.. Keeping working people just one or two paychecks away from disaster is an intentional anti-striking, anti-unionizing policy by the billionaires. What's a worker to do?
